MEET Kris
Hi!
I'm Kris Eubanks, the bookkeeper at North Pointe. From an early age, I've had an eye for detail and a desire for structure. God has used that to provide me with many opportunities over the years, but none more exciting than when He gave me this one at North Pointe. My husband, Brian, and I have been married since 2011 and are originally from Southern California. We felt led to move to Lincoln in 2013 and started attending North Pointe in 2018.
Besides going on the Spain missions trip in 2019, I hadn't gotten involved in any of the ministries until June 2021 when I volunteered to help with the middle school summer trip to Camp Maranatha. I fell in love with working with youth, and have been a youth group leader ever since. I am constantly sharpened by the students and enjoy doing life with them and the other leaders. In one particular discussion with my group of girls, we were talking about our giftings. I shared about my record-keeping abilities but that I felt it wasn't a very "cool" gift like being a musician or artist. Without skipping a beat, one of the students replied "Matthew was a record keeper!" I left youth group that night feeling so encouraged! It was the very next morning that I received an email from our pastor, Andy, asking me to consider applying for the bookkeeper position.
This is just ONE account of God's hand on my life, and I have many more that I'd love to share with you! But for brevity's sake, here are just a few random things about my life:
-I have a passion for people of all nations and advancing God's kingdom
-I LOVE dogs, especially my sweet petunia, Julian
-My husband and I are licensed foster care parents through Christian Heritage
-My favorite foods are potatoes (they're so versatile!), avocados, and pasta
-I am my husband's biggest fan
-My love languages are words of affirmation and physical touch
