Backpack Program at Kooser Elementary

Help pack and distribute backpacks of food to elementary kids struggling with food insecurities.

Food Bank of Lincoln's BackPack Program seeks to help students struggling with food insecurities. Students who qualify for their school’s Free or Reduced Lunch Programs are provided with a food-filled backpack to take home with them each weekend.

Starting in October 2024, North Pointe will be assisting Kooser Elementary with this program throughout the 2024-2025 school year. There are two different ways you can get involved:

  1. Help pack food into bags (all materials provided, packing happens at North Pointe, and dates/times for packing are flexible)
  2. Transport bags from North Pointe to Kooser Elementary on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays between 8am-2pm

If you are interested in more information about either for these options, please fill out the form below. Then Jared Harms our Discipleship and Outreach Pastor will contact you.
