Food Bank of Lincoln's BackPack Program seeks to help students struggling with food insecurities. Students who qualify for their school’s Free or Reduced Lunch Programs are provided with a food-filled backpack to take home with them each weekend.
Starting in October 2024, North Pointe will be assisting Kooser Elementary with this program throughout the 2024-2025 school year. There are two different ways you can get involved:
- Help pack food into bags (all materials provided, packing happens at North Pointe, and dates/times for packing are flexible)
- Transport bags from North Pointe to Kooser Elementary on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays between 8am-2pm
